That lasted until about midnight when Chip said he needed his dad (whew...not his mom). So Joe cozied up to him and they slept until about 7:30. There were a few awakenings throughout the night so everyone's pretty tired (but not TOO crabby).
He's eaten, he's propped comfortably on the futon and is watching (ick) Sponge Bob.
Hannah and Joe are slated to play with Lifesong (Church contempoary group) today at 10 a.m. mass. Casey will sub for Hannah as altar server so off they will go. I'll crawl under the covers with Chip and try to convince him to watch TLC or HGTV.
Today we need to fill the water trough for the horses. I set trail for my hash club on Friday so 1) I need to get out of here just after lunch to see if its still there and 2) I need to be the beer wagon for the day. Joe will have to hold down the fort.
I am tentatively scheduled to start working for "Home Instead Senior Care" this week -- will probably have to put them off at least one week depending on how Chip does when he goes back to school.
